about dena & ken -
When I was 8 years old my Tia bought me my first Kodak 110...it was Red and it went EVERYWHERE with me. When I met Ken, he was just in the early stages of exploring with his camera while living in Jackson Hole, WY.
And now, he is as in love with photography as I am.
We are Dena & Ken Shipley, wedding and lifestyle photographers based in
Huntsville, Texas. We love golf, Sunday afternoon naps, warm sun kissed light, unique people, our kids & family, Blue Bell ice cream, Sonor drums, live music, Rush......we listen to them way too much & travel the world to see them......we also love our cat Leakey (named after the town we were married in), our beagle Connor, super fun weddings, cooking & grilling, snow skiing, traveling & road trips.

we want to say thank you to our great friends over at Keepsake Foto for the photos you see of us in our bio's. Kristi & Greg Sowell and great friends of ours who are photographers, theis past November we celebrated our 1st anniversary and went back to the location we were married at. The Sowell's joined us and captured us on our anniversary. Enjoy getting to know us a little more through our photos!
